Auto: Global Aftermarket Database

GlobalData's Automotive Aftermarket database provides historic and forecast aftermarket data, updated annually. Our database is the result of a unique interview program that supplements an exhaustive review of industry data sources to allow clients to explore aftermarket opportunities for 41 parts and consumables through 10 different sales channels at the volume and value level.

Our model was constructed using many sources, both primary and secondary. Primary research was conducted on a business-to-business level, with 3,000 respondents being contacted. Our primary research focuses on component prices, volumes sold, average mileage, share by distribution channel, replacement rates, market shares and retail revenues. Extensive secondary research was conducted to supplement primary research looking at registration data, economic data, annual reports, and conference presentations.
